About This Game

Drawing war is a 4 player game that mixes War, Pictionary, and rolling the die into a fun game.

Materials Needed

  • A 52-card standard deck
  • 1 six-sided die
  • Paper or a whiteboard
  • Something to draw with.
  • A customizable timer
  • The deck of words
  1. Shuffle the standard deck of cards
  2. Divide into 2 teams of 2.
  3. Divide the deck evenly between teams. (Don't look at the cards)
  4. Split up the deck of words into 6 stacks of matching numbers (they have numbers on them).

How to Play

  1. One person from each team flips over a card
  2. The person with the higher card goes first (Ace > ... > 2)
  3. The first person rolls a die, that number is how long they have to draw (1 = 10 sec, 2 = 20 sec, etc.)
  4. Also use that number to pick a word from the correct stack of words.
  5. They then draw a card and draw the word as best as they can.
  6. Then their teammate tries to guess the thing, if right you keep the card.
  7. That card is a point!
  8. The other team goes, then repeat!

How to Win

Be the first to get 25 points!
